About Soda Blasting

Soda blasting is a revolutionary process that’s a great improvement over previous surface stripping methods, and does a remarkable job on unusual surfaces such as aluminum and fiberglass. The process can remove paint, stains, grease, and neutralize rust without damaging metal, glass, chrome or warp thin sheet metal. The Stripco® process uses pure granular sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and is non-toxic, 100% water soluble, biodegradable, and safe for the environment. This media serves as a mild but effective abrasive that will remove paint, starins, mold, and fire/smoke damage, just to name a few. Sodium bicarbonate leaves metal smooth and ready to paint with no sanding, no pitting, no warping, and no heating of the surface.

The media is delivered efficiently and effectively through our Stripco® soda blaster by using a large volume of compressed air. Unlike sand blasting or chemical stripping, our process can be done while other machines and processes are in operation, and will not damage or alter the underlying surface being stripped.

Our Stripco® machinery allows the operator to adjust the media flow with the press of a button at the nozzle.  Stripco® developed and has a patent pending on this technology and it is available exclusively to Stripco® Authorized Contractors.
